Good day Beloved. Lately I have been watching the Marvel movies and I find I like them more than I remember I did. I know, I know, I’m a nerd. I own it. One commonality with all the hero’s lies beneath the armor. There beats a good heart that sooner or later we the observers get to see. A warmth that beats for the good of those whom they protect. Are you a hero?
Chances are to someone YOU are a hero. Do you have someone you provide for or take care of in some way. Are you the one who pays the bills, buys the groceries, cleans the toilet, teaches 1+1=2, wipes the fevered brow? Then you are a hero. To me, those who clean up the messes the rest of us leave behind are the heros. Those who do on behalf of others. That is a hero. Those who clean the break room at work, take out the trash, sweep the floors, wash the dishes, change the bandages, monitor the meds and the breathing, protect the civilians. These are the ones who deserve our thanks and gratitude.
I would be willing to bet that with just about every one of those people that hold things together when we’re not lookin, if we scratch the surface, we would find a warmth and love we never imagined. I think it takes real heart to be someone’s support. Are you the one with the hidden heart full of warmth? Are you the one that quietly does the work while others always seem to get the recognition? I see you Beloved, I see you. I know you sometimes wish that just once someone would say out loud to you. Thanks or good job. THANK YOU BELOVED FOR THE GREAT JOB YOU DO.
Beloved, keep your armor strong and your heart warm. Know that whether we say it out loud or not we appreciate what you heros do. We thank you for protecting our borders. We thank you for protecting our country. We thank you for taking care of our ill and wounded. We thank you for cleaning the microwaves and toilets. We thank you for your service no matter what form it takes. Military and healthcare and dishwashers and hash slingers are all service industries. Service industries are full of heros. Heros are full of warmth beneath the armor.
Beloved, if you are the hero in someone’s world, maintain and keep the warmth beneath the armor strong because we all need you. The rest of us Beloveds, we need to make the time to acknowledge a hero on any and all levels we notice them. We need to notice them. Here’s to you hero…
Go on with your bad self, you housekeeper, maid, cook, dishwasher, cashier, nurses aide, nurse, teacher, soldier, all I failed to mention, HERO.
Have a lovely…
