Handful of Sand

Hello Beloved, I hope wherever you are your world is beautiful. On the day of my writing this the weather was wonderful. Bright sun with just the right amount of warmth. I have been watching as usual paranormal, science and technology, ufo type documentaries. One thing in particular that has been standing out to me is that astronomers and scientists saying that there are more planets in the universe than than there are grains of sand on all the beaches on earth.

Can you wrap your mind around that? When is the last time you had the opportunity to hold a handful of sand? Every grain representing a planet someplace in the universe that might have life on it. How wild is that? I think we as a people are pretty amazing in the things that we have accomplished. New organs can be printed and help people live better. People can manipulate others into doing whatever they want them to do.

I think it is so amazing in these days that we can be deluded into thinking just about anything. How are we supposed to discern truth from fiction? What do we believe? Were we created or did we evolve from a monkey? Are we the only “intelligent” creatures in the universe? Are there really more planets than grains of sand? I don’t know. It seems to me that maybe we would be better off as a people if we put the same effort into taking care of our neighbors as we do covering up political games and looking for aliens. What good is it if we find aliens if can’t take care of all the kids that go to bed hungry every night or live in fear for their safety every day? How can we properly deal with E.T. When we are unable to be real and truthful with the people we are supposed to serving and protecting?

I wonder if it is just easier for us as a people to focus on things way outside our sphere of influence than it is to seriously look at what needs our attention close to home?

However it turns out I hope Beloved that you are totally content with what you have done with your life. Be blessed Beloved. Until next time.
