Oh Come On…

Hello Beloved, how are you all today? Ok so I have been spending a bit of time off in left field again. Thinking about how people throughout the generations have worked so hard to put down and stamp out ideas that differ from their own. Why do people do this? I really want to know. Why is it so hard for different groups of people to just focus on what is the best bottom line for everyone?

So what if I say the sky is aqua blue and you say azure blue. So what?!? I agree that sometimes the things we disagree on can affect different groups in harsher ways than others. For example who you want to be the “leader of the free world”. Even that should not be enough to bring people to violence and destruction. Just like real love touches and changes everyone in proximity, violence does also but in negative way.

For whatever reason people seem to be wired to keep the negative in the light so it continues to spread its degradation to more and more people. Can you tell me why that is? Can a vegetarian and a meat eater share a meal together? I say yes of course. I don’t think I would like to eat raw oysters but I sure am not gonna fight someone who loves to slurp them down. Oh, I just made myself hungry ‘cuz I do like cooked oyster soup. Any way do you get my point. How can we get people from different cultures, different ways of worship, different work ethics, to come together to work for the best bottom line for our children, OUR children.

Isn’t the future of ALL OUR children what should be the most important priority for us? Shouldn’t we all want to leave out the best world possible? I mean really the Hindi on the next block wants a good world for their children just like the Lutheran down the block or the LGBT… couple around the corner or the African American family next door. SO WHAT if we all celebrate things differently?

The future for our children is what is most important to me and I don’t even have children in my home. Come on people let’s get our ducks in row and do the right thing for the children who undoubtedly will end dying of old age before they can clean up the mess we are making.

Okay, I’ll get off my soapbox now. BLESSED BE beloved, blessed be.
